What is Tap in Tuesday:

A casual group mentoring session for Montreal technology entrepreneurs.

When is the event:

November 16th is exception due to scheduling conflict. Usually the event is the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6PM (so you don’t forget it is the 2nd day of the 2nd week of each month).

Why is this being organized:

We wanted to create an opportunity to jump start mentoring relationships between new entrepreneurs and some of Montreal’s more experienced entrepreneurs.

While there is a huge amount of valuable start up and entrepreneurship information on the web, nothing beats the opportunity to ask some specific questions to someone who has been there and done that.

We also recognize that entrepreneurship is an exhilarating but challenging path to take. Creating something where nothing exists requires a lot of passion and commitment. Hearing first hand accounts of the challenges and victories from another entrepreneur who successful navigated that path is inspiring and hopefully provides some fuel for our participants.

How will the event be structured:

 We plan to have a ‘structured conversation” between new entrepreneurs and seasoned mentor entrepreneur (rotating mentor each month) on set of specific start up topics + ideas from mentor and entrepreneurs.

We have some pre-planned questions for our mentor, but we hope the meeting is more of a conversation then a mini conference. Also a “moderator” will ensure the conversation stays on track (keeps moving and covers topics that will add value for the group).
